Creating a dream bathroom
I heard about Epic Bathrooms through word of mouth. They had recently completed some work for both my sister and my parents, so I had gotten a chance to see their standard of quality. I was really impressed with the work they had done and so chose to employ them to remove and refit two bathrooms, as well as replace a boiler.
Steve came to my rescue and redesigned an entirely new layout that worked around the bath.
I had already chosen a design for the bathroom, and I’d opted for a large, free standing bathtub to go at the centre of the room.
Unfortunately, the bath I had chosen was too big to fit in the design, so Steve needed to go back to the drawing board for me and redesign the bathroom plan. This included re-fitting the plumbing and bringing in extra parts and pieces to ensure that the design was finished and up to standard, and that the bath could remain where I wanted it to be.
I was impressed at their dedication and stamina
Steve and the team ended up refitting the skirting boards and changed some of the design aspects that I hadn’t previously thought of, in order to fit in with my vision.
Most of the fixtures including the bath are extremely heavy, but Steve’s team had no problems safely handling them up and down the stairs.
I was impressed by their commitment to getting everything done
The boys were very clean and tidy, and never left any mess behind. I was most impressed by their commitment to working at a consistently high standard, as well as their bath fitting skills – especially given the size and weight. There was a moment where I thought pieces of the bathroom would have to come in through the window, but the boys managed to bring them up the stairs without issue.
Trustworthy and hard working
At no point did I feel like I had to “watch over” Steve and his team. I trusted them completely to get the job done, and could see that they made good progress every day. I would definitely recommend them.
