Exceptional heating and plumbing services

Steve and Jason have worked with Ocean Lettings for many years. They had always provided a superb service, so when they set up on their own, we had every confidence that they would continue to provide this same high level of service.

We’ve worked with the boys through their company Epic for three years now, and have watched it grow from strength to strength. They take care of all things gas-related for us; plumbing, kitchen and bathroom fittings (they have two excellent bathroom fitters), boilers, hot water, and heating; their strap line ‘Keeping Bristol Warm’ is very apt!

They are highly qualified, and their fault finding and diagnosis across a multitude of different heating issues, has always been second to none. Some heating engineers will go in and fix a fault, but it doesn’t fix the problem. However if Epic goes in, the fault gets properly fixed. They have diagnosed and fixed issues that other plumbers simply could not.

When it comes to diagnosis, they are conscientious, honest and not afraid to give their best advice. With a boiler, if you replace one part, it can cause another to fail. The Epic engineers are not afraid to tell you if they feel that you are throwing good money after bad, and will always recommend the best plan of action.

They are also superb with regards to communication. They take a corporate approach, and have invested in software that allows them to manage administration of projects and gas safety certificate renewals easily and effectively.

For Ocean Lettings, customer service is tantamount. Tenants expect heating and hot water to work and if it doesn’t they expect it to be fixed quickly. Epic carries out upwards of 10 to 15 jobs a week for us and have never let us down. They always contact the tenant to say when they are coming, and we never get any complaints.

Epic are Worcester Bosch Accredited Installers and we get a lot of great feedback from landladies about their Worcester Bosch 10-year, no quibble guarantee. You get what you pay for with boilers, and with professionally skilled people. Epic’s prices are very reasonable and their service is exceptional. They also indemnify what they do, so we know they’d sort out any problems.

Epic also provides us with an out of hours service, so if a tenant phones us in the middle of the night with an emergency, they will go out and fix it. You couldn’t find two more genuinely committed individuals. I wouldn’t get behind a company if I didn’t believe they were the best out there. Day-in day-out; if anybody asks me for a plumber or engineer, I always recommend Epic.
